Your tackle box
Keep a list of the tackle you own, mark what to pack for the next trip, and tick it off with the trip checklist beside it. Kept in this browser only.
Packing list
Your tackle to pack
Tick “Pack” on items in your tackle box and they appear here.
And not to forget
From FishingHQ’s trip checklist. Prompts, not rules: what applies where you fish is set by the bodies that manage it.
Tackle and kit
At the water
Licences, permission, tides and the forecast are checked before you go: plan the trip for the place.
In your tackle box
Nothing yet. Add what you own, or add an outfit from the setup builder and change it to match.
Keep a copy, or move it to another device
Your journal and tackle box are kept together in this browser. A copy is a file on your device; it is yours to look after, and anybody who has it can read it.
What this is, and what it is not
A list you keep, in this browser’s storage, with your fishing journal; FishingHQ receives none of it. It recommends nothing to buy and ranks no product. What a rod, reel or line should be for a particular fish is in the setup builder, with the reason for each part and how strong the evidence is — and an outfit there can be added here and then changed to match what you own.
The checklist beside the packing list is FishingHQ’s trip checklist for the way you fish: reminders that link to the pages behind them, not rules. Whether you need a licence or permission, and what the limits are, is set by the bodies that manage the water — the licence and authority finder names them.
